How much do Made To Measure Sliding Wardrobes cost in 2026?

2026 Pricing Guide

How Much Do Made-To-Measure Sliding Wardrobes Cost?

The cost of a made-to-measure sliding wardrobe depends on the width of the opening, the number and size of the doors, the finishes you choose and the internal storage you need. As a guide, a straightforward two-door mirror wardrobe with an interior and exterior framework starts from around £1,600 plus VAT.

We believe customers should have a sensible idea of cost before arranging a home design visit. The prices below explain how our 2026 guide pricing is built, so you can see which choices affect the final figure and where your budget is being spent.

All prices shown in this guide exclude VAT. VAT is added at 20%, and your written quotation will clearly show the subtotal, VAT and total price to pay.

Mirror Sliding Door Prices

Mirror is our lowest-priced door finish and the starting point for every design. The price of each door depends on its finished width, which we calculate after measuring the opening and working out the most suitable door layout.

Mirror door size Guide price
Under 600mm wide £250 + VAT per door
600mm wide or above £350 + VAT per door

Wider openings do not automatically mean wider individual doors. In some rooms, using three or four doors gives better access and smoother proportions than trying to cover the opening with fewer oversized doors. We will recommend the layout that works properly for the room.

Alternative Door Finishes

If you would like something other than standard mirror, the selected finish is added to the mirror door price. Different finishes can also be combined across the same wardrobe, allowing you to use mirror as a centre panel or create a feature door without changing every panel.

Door finish Additional cost
Gloss coloured glass £120 + VAT per door
Satin coloured glass £175 + VAT per door
Wood panel finish £200 + VAT per door
Acoustic panel style £250 + VAT per door

Interior And Exterior Framework Prices

A complete fitted wardrobe normally includes a made-to-measure interior and an exterior framework that gives the installation its floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall finish. Both are priced according to the overall wardrobe width.

Wardrobe element Up to 2.4m Over 2.4m
Wardrobe interior £450 + VAT £550 + VAT
Exterior framework £450 + VAT £550 + VAT

Our standard interiors can include practical combinations of top shelving, hanging rails and adjustable shelving. We plan the layout around what you actually need to store rather than forcing every customer into the same arrangement.

Optional Extras

  • Horizontal decorative bars: £10 + VAT per bar, per door, with one to five bars available
  • Soft-close sliding doors: £150 + VAT per door
  • Three-drawer interior unit: £185 + VAT, up to 600mm wide
  • Four-drawer interior unit: £225 + VAT, up to 600mm wide

These extras are optional. A well-designed wardrobe does not need every upgrade, and we will help you decide which features genuinely improve the design and which ones you may not need.
