Sliding Wardrobes for Sloping Ceilings
Sloping Ceiling Installation
Sloping ceilings? This is where made-to-measure matters.
Loft rooms and top-floor bedrooms look great - but sloping ceilings make standard wardrobes awkward. Freestanding furniture usually leaves wasted space above, looks unfinished and never truly fits the room.
With a made-to-measure sliding wardrobe, the wardrobe is built to the ceiling line itself - giving a proper fitted finish and far better use of the available space.
We design and fit sliding wardrobes across South Wales, including Mountain Ash, Merthyr Tydfil, Pontypridd and Cardiff.
The Problem With Sloping Ceilings
- Large wedges of wasted space above standard wardrobes
- Boxed-in or unfinished looking installations
- Reduced storage capacity
- Standard furniture struggling to follow the ceiling line properly
Our Solution: A Chamfered Frame
Instead of forcing a square wardrobe into an angled room, we chamfered the frame to follow the slope of the ceiling. This allows the wardrobe to run floor-to-ceiling while staying tight to the ceiling line for a true built-in finish.
- Maximises storage with no wasted space above
- Creates a seamless fitted appearance
- Ideal for loft rooms and awkward angles
- Sliding doors keep access easy in tighter bedrooms
Why Sliding Doors Work So Well In Loft Rooms
- No swing clearance needed
- The room stays easier to move around in
- Large panels create a cleaner, more modern finish
- Mirror and glass finishes work especially well in loft spaces
Built around the room properly - not forced into it.
If your bedroom has a sloping ceiling or awkward angle, we can design a made-to-measure sliding wardrobe that fits properly and makes full use of the space.
